hi, i'm barfy (i made song maker plus)
I'm currently working on a music making website called Samplifier.
Samplifier is not mod of Chrome Music Lab. It's completely new.
Song Maker Plus is limited with what features I could add, because it's only a mod. Making a DAW from scratch means I understand all of the code, and can easily add new features.
Some planned features for Samplifier include:
- Up to 15 Tracks
- Long Notes
- Sample Packs (Custom Instruments)
- Saving/Loading songs as ".sfr" files
- A Timeline and Patterns
- Copying and Pasting Patterns
- Instrument Envelope (Attack, Sustain, Decay, Release)
- Volume Mixing for Each Track
- Effects (Reverb, Chorus, Feedback Delay, Bitcrush, etc.)

I'm currently taking a break from Song Maker Plus to work on Samplifier, but more SM+ instruments, palettes, and themes are coming soon.
You can beta test Samplifier by joining the SM+ Discord Server. Samplifier is very unfinished, and is currently missing many planned features.

I plan to make a downloadable version of Samplifier for Windows, not sure about other platforms yet.
